Sunshine
Essential and bright energy source
warming the Earth
coaxing the plants from their winter slumber.
Center of our universe
encourages outdoor activity
even when temperatures are frigid.
Largely motivating,
ever present behind the clouds,
a force to reckon with.
Sunshine
What a warm slice! Perfect timing on the eve of Daylight Savings Time, too! Isn't it wild how the mere presence of the sun can trick us into going outside when the temperatures are plummeting? Will be braving the elements shortly with my faithful furry friend. Happy that the sunshine will keep us company even if it dances behind the clouds a bit!

ReplyDeleteAh, a little sunshine makes us all come out of our winter slumber! We enjoyed a 3 mile walk today as a family in the glorious (yet, chilly) sunshine!
