What went well #SOLC21

Wow it's late.  It's been a long day.

Here's what went well:

1. Interactive read alouds with my 6th grade groups (SO TIRED but it was worth it).

2. 8th graders willing to work independently because I had no voice left (and it was the plan anyway).

3. Comforted two daughters facing some struggles today.

4. At dinner enjoyed a huge hot pretzel my husband got for me at the grocery store (YUM)

5.  Remembered to slice

  2. Dear Chris,

I felt your enthusiasm and your exhaustion all wrapped into one as I read each line - and connected on so many levels! I carved out a small (very late) slice as well - because my day was just...crazy.

But I'm happy to have shared your success in remembering to slice - and even happier to see we share joys of being moms to children whom we'll forever love with every ounce we have.

    Thanks for sharing :o)

  4. I like the idea of documenting successes. Seems like a powerful practice and helps keep the blues at bay.
