Sunny Days #SOLC19

The sun is shining in the windows today.
We need no coat.
I actually have neighbors,
sitting or walking and waving hello.

Errands aren't as bad
as I drive around,
windows down
and sunglasses on my face.

Sunny days help my brain
feel more in charge and productive.
Let's clean the car,
pick up pinecones and sticks.

How I love a sunny day
even if's it's cold.
Sunny days are hopeful
and make me smile.

  1. Could not agree more with all of the sentiments in your poem. We have had so many overcast, cold and rainy days where I am. So very grateful for the sun today.

  2. Yes! I love them too. Today it is so sunny... but still so very cold! I want it to be real spring. . . I want to go and make my yard nice, and just soak up the warm weather!

  3. Yes!!! I need more sun in my life. I can't wait to go to Florida next week. The sun seems like such a promise after a long, cold, gray winter. Thank you for celebrating sunshine today!
