It's been a great Slice of Life Challenge! Check out Two Writing Teachers to slice all year long! |
This is awesome!!!! What a cool format and a sweet "gift" to your girls! I may have to try this one for the girls birthday . . . and then every year after!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great way to honor your daughters! Love the way you divided, yet brought them together. I can tell how proud you are of both of them and I know they're proud of you too. So glad we all accomplished our goal and wrote for 31 days straight!
ReplyDeleteThis is a blessed poem! I love your structure and the bookend pictures. Truely honoring!
ReplyDeleteThe format reminds me of "You Read to Me, I'll Read to You." Was that your inspiration? It would be fun to have your daughters read it and record it in that manner. CONGRATS on slicing for 31 days! WE MADE IT!
ReplyDeleteHow fun - like a Venn diagram! This is a beautiful tribute to your girls.
ReplyDeleteI love this format. This is a great idea for a slice and for a wonderful tribute to your daughters.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great poem and such a wonderful format for it!! Congratulations on finishing the challenge, and best of all, finishing it with a poem about your daughters. Your mom love shines through!
ReplyDeleteCute format -- like a venn diagram poem! I like the little details you included, like "whisperer". Congrats on finishing the challenge! Hope to see you on Tuesdays?
ReplyDeleteLike the others, I really liked the format of your poem. What a wonderful way to pay homage to your girls.
ReplyDeleteLove the now and then photos too!
Chris,
ReplyDeleteI love the way you formatted this poem. Perfect for your message! Isn't it funny how different our daughters can be? I loved the middle full of commonalities about daughters.
